2003 Harley-Davidson Softail Heritage Springer
2003 100th Anniversary Edition Harley Davidson Heritage Springer - FLSTSI. Counterbalanced, rigid mount 88 cubic inch (1450 cc) fuel injected engine with the Dynojet Power Commander. Except for the Samson Hollow Fishtail pipes (DS200236) and the Power Commander, this bike is all Harley Davidson, and it's dialed in perfectly.
From floating front fender to taillight, there's never been any mistaking the Heritage Springer. The classic look stands out in the thickest of crowds. Look no further than the front end for the reason. The leading-link exposed-spring front suspension is still welded and polished by hand and recalls days past. Yet it provides a premium, modern-day ride. It's complemented by a hot-forged steel fork and classic horn. Full-coverage rear fender, new wide white-walls, leather bags with quick-detach hardware and bag savers, Samson pipes and many NOS 100th Anniversary features. Also includes an H-D Factory Security System with 2 key-chain remotes.
2003 was not only the 100th anniversary year for Harley Davidson Motor Company, it was the final year they made the Heritage Springer. And based on color scheme (Gunmetal Pearl), this one is the most rare. In 2003, there were a total of 3,100 of these bikes produced. The 3 colors for the Anniversary Edition were as follows:
Production: 3100 Units (for worldwide distribution)
1410 Vivid Black/Sterling Silver Units
1260 Vivid Black Units
*429 Gunmetal Pearl Units
*One Gunmetal Pearl Unit kept by Harley-Davidson
I just had this bike completely and thoroughly serviced by Blocker's HD. They did the 35k mileage checkup/service, but the bike had only 33,022 at that time. In addition, I had them install a new Screamin' Eagle Stage 1 Air Cleaner Kit (29440-99D), install all new Anniversary engine covers (Derby 25001-03, Air Cleaner 29019-03, Timer 32113-03), install a new front tire (the rear was new last year), and do a PA inspection. All new HD Billet Collection footboards, large passenger pegs, large brake pedal, brake arm and shifter pegs. Too many other chrome and billet upgrades to list, but I can send you better pics if you request them. I have the paperwork on hand.
